New Year – New Equipment
In my continuing efforts to have the best DJ Equipment to play music, I recently added two new Electro Voice ZLX12 passive speakers as my new backup speakers. I now have 4 of them and they rock. In conjunction with my Electro Voice ZX-A-1 Subwoofer, the sound is unbelievable. I also just added a Crown XLS1500 Amp as my new backup Amp. I loved my QSC GX3, but this new Crown Amp is 16 pounds lighter and it performs the same as the QSC. Thanks QSC for 6 great years of performance.
Happy New Year (2015)
Thanks to everyone for a great 2014. December was a busy month with 11 Holiday Parties and Sweet 16 Parties throughout the Delaware Valley. Christmas Music was great, but it is nice to hear some of the best new songs of the day. My favorites are “Uptown Funk” and “Love Me Harder”. Check out my photo with the “Elsa” lookalike and my DJ friend, Joe Griffith. We only played “Let It Go” about 7 times that day.
Conestoga High School Homecoming (10/11/14)
On October 11, 2014, I had the great privilege to DJ the Conestoga High School Homecoming dance. I had help from Dave Kroll, who is known as DJ Krizmak. We had 900-1,000 students at the dance and the place rocked. The Student Council provided us with a recommended playlist that was great. We also took a lot of requests. The students raved about it and my helper DJ Krizmak did an EDM set that brought the house down. Below is a picture of the before dance gear setup. Luckily, all of the speakers and lights survived the night, capped off by a catch of one of the light stands and lights by one of the chaperones after an overambitious dancer got carried away.
Come see me at the St. Basil Fall Festival
I will be DJing at the St. Basil Fall Festival in Kimberton, PA. This is being held from September 10 through September 14. I will be doing a Disco Night with many great Disco hits on Friday, September 12, 2014. Come dance to some of the greatest music of all times.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS EVENT – MAY 23, 2014
SPECIAL OLYMPICS EVENT – MAY 23, 2014
PERKIOMEN VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL WEST
Joe Griffith and I had the chance to DJ the Special Olympics event on May 23, 2014. The Olympics went from 9:30AM until 1:30PM. It was a great event. Everyone got a medal and the kids especially loved the dance music after lunch. The Chicken Dance may have set a record as the largest ever.
