2015 Wrap-up

Well, 2015 was another very successful year.  The mix of events was wild.  Weddings, Proms, Homecomings, the Pope's Visit and lots of Holiday Parties.

As 2016 starts up, I bought the latest IPAD Air 2 with 128GB of space.  What a fantastic backup device this will be!!

Tom Dalton, DJ at the Paoli Train Station for the Papal Visit

On Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th, I had the great pleasure to be an on-location DJ entertaining the thousands of passengers who travelled to Philadelphia to see Pope Francis.  I was there each day from 7AM to Noon and kept everyone happy, including the passengers, the SEPTA staff and all of our Law Enforcement professionals.  I played a great mix of music and we had fun singing and dancing to such favorites as Sweet Caroline, Love Train, We Are Family, Celebration and of course, the YMCA.  I also had such favorites as My Sweet Lord, God Only Knows, I Say A Little Prayer and My Blue Heaven among others.

It was a great day and everyone raved about it.

Finally, check out the Love Train Dance video being done by the passengers and SEPTA staff on the Paoli Fire Company’s Facebook page.  What a hoot!!

Pulled off Last Minute Wedding – August 8, 2015

I got a call on August 7, 2015 to be an emergency DJ at the Mary Witmer and Ryan Healey wedding at Greystone Hall on Saturday, August 8, 2015.  With less than 24 hours notice, I put together the playlists, got the bridal party names and worked through the logistics of two separate music systems for both the cocktail hour and the reception.  I knew I did well, when one of the Maid’s of Honor requested a song during the dance time and told me, “You are killing it.”  Makes you feel good!!

Conestoga High School Senior Prom – April 24, 2015

On Friday, April 24th, Joe Griffith and I got to DJ the Conestoga High School Prom for the third year in a row.  A great time was had by a crowd of over 500 students and chaperones.  It was at the Phoenixville Foundry for the third year in a row and the music was awesome.  Congrats to the Conestoga High School Seniors.  We will be back in April of 2016.

Little Smiles 7th Annual Monte Carlo Night, Citizens Bank Park, March 28, 2015

I had the privilege to DJ the Little Smiles 7th Annual Monte Carlo Night on March 28, 2015.  It was held in the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.  A fabulous time was had by all and much needed money was raised.

Little Smiles is a volunteer driven, non-profit 501(c)3 children’s charity.  Their mission is to help the kids in local hospitals, hospices, shelters and other like facilities.
